В Центре иностранных обучающихся состоялся первый в новом году Дискуссионный клуб #ПроЖизнь
Среди участников – студенты из Марокко, Индии, Алжира, Туркменистана, Гаити, Бангладеш из нескольких вузов региона — ПГМУ, ПГИК, ПГФА. Активист Центра и лидер дискуссионного клуба, студент ПГМУ из Индии, Шрештх Шукла рассказал участникам о традициях празднования Дня студента в России. В ходе обсуждения выяснилось, что в других странах как такового дня студента нет. В Марокко есть День молодежи, в Алжире — День ученых, а в Индии празднуют День детей и молодежи. У каждого есть свои традиции перед экзаменом: подкладывать денежную купюру в обувь, класть под подушку конспекты и др. Пока студенты делились своими лайфхаками, Центр подготовил творческий мастер-класс по плетению оберега для студента. В завершение мероприятия участники посмотрели знаменитую комедию «Операция «Ы» и другие приключения Шурика», по традиции в День студента Центр иностранных обучающихся демонстрирует киноленту с субтитрами на английском языке.

Is Students’ Day celebrated in other countries? The first #ProLife Discussion Club of the new year was held at Perm Regional Center of Foreign Students. Participants included students from Morocco, India, Algeria, Turkmenistan, Haiti, Bangladesh, studying at PSMU, PSIC, and PSPA. Shreshth Shukla, the Center’s activist and leader of the Discussion Club, PSMU student from India, told the participants about the traditions of celebrating Students’ Day in Russia. During the discussion it turned out that other countries do not have Students’ Day as such. In Morocco, there is Youth Day, in Algeria – Scientist Day, and in India they celebrate Children’s (and Youth) Day. Everyone has their own traditions before taking exam: putting bill in a shoe, placing lecture notes under a pillow. While the students were sharing their lifehacks, the Center prepared master class on making a lucky charm for students. At the end of the event the participants watched the famous comedy “Operation Y and Shurik’s Other Adventures.” According to the tradition, the Center always demonstrates the film with English subtitles on Students’ Day.
